Mechanical Associates began manufacturing water control products in 1993 as a subcontractor to a large, well known irrigation company.  In 2004 we started manufacturing and selling products directly to the irrigation industry under our own brand name.  Since then we have established an excellent reputation for quality products and outstanding customer service.  In 2008 we became a subsidiary of American Incorporated, moving our manufacturing to their facilities in Visalia, Ca.  Contact us concerning your water control gate needs.

Our Business

We specialize in corrosion resistant gates, making canal gates, slide gates and flap gates in type 304 and 316 stainless steel, marine grade aluminum and a combination of aluminum and stainless steel. 

Our fabricated circular canal gates are used on irrigation district canals to replace cast iron canal gates which corrode and leak. 

Our replaceable neoprene gasket makes canal gate installation quick and easy.  If the gate leaks because of damage, it is a simple and quick process to replace the gasket on site, making the gate as good as new for minimal expense. 

Compared with having to replace the whole canal gate, which includes paying for a new gate and additional installation expensed, our canal gates, slide gates and flap gates represent excellent value for the money.
